Epic Personnel Partners is actively hiring a Machine Operator for a manufacturing facility in Windsor, CT.

Pay Rate: 17–19/hour (Depending on Experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00AM–5:00PM | Full-Time

Duties

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating specialized machining and assembly equipment to support the production of precision components for aerospace, defense, and industrial systems. This role works under direct supervision and is ideal for entry-level candidates seeking to build a career in advanced manufacturing.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor production machinery including shot peening systems, blast equipment, rotary barrels, and related manufacturing tools.
  • Assemble a small range of simple products to meet production targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Set up equipment as needed to carry out various manufacturing processes.
  • Perform basic in-process inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Follow production schedules, work instructions, and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while supporting general manufacturing tasks.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical/Trade School preferred.
  • 1–6 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Familiarity with machine operation, soldering, or mechanical assembly techniques is a plus.
  • Manual dexterity and basic math skills required.
  • Ability to read simple assembly drawings and follow detailed work instructions.
  • Must be able to work under close supervision in a production setting.
  • CNC experience is not required—training available for growth.
