Overview

About The RoleWe are currently recruiting for Machine Operators to work at our manufacturing facility in Scunthorpe. The role will be from Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:30.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed technical drawings to produce end products of the highest standard
• Effectively and safely control a variety of woodworking machinery including CNC drills, edge banders and glue machines, and a variety of hand tools
• Participate in training and mentoring of Trainee Machine Operators
• Carry out rigorous quality checks to ensure high-quality standards are always met, reporting any quality issues to management and the QC team
• Ability to operate machines, move and remove parts as required for cleaning processes
• Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding health and safety in the workplace
• Organisational skills
• Flexibility, commitment and punctuality
• Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment
• Good knowledge of manufactured products
• Awareness of H&S and COSHH
