Production/Machine Operators
Location: Flitwick, Bedfordshire

About the Role

Proactive Recruitment is currently hiring reliable and hardworking Production Operators for a leading manufacturing facility based in Flitwick. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term, stable work with the potential for a permanent position.

Working Hours

Days and Nightshifts available

Day Shifts - 08:00- 20:00 (rotating/shifts alternate weekly)

Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday

Week 2 - Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday

Rate: 14.66- 16.00 per hour

Nightshift: Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM

12-hour shifts, 4 nights per week

Rate: 15.18- 16.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery in a safe and efficient manner
• Conduct routine quality checks on products
• Pack and prepare products for dispatch according to specifications
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation on the production floor
• Follow all company health & safety policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is beneficial but not essential - full training will be provided
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
• Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods
• Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Punctual and dependable
