Machine Operator

Corby NN17 5DP, £13.00ph Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm, Regular Saturday Hours, Immediate start, Free Parking.

Our client who are a successful packaging company are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Machine Operator to join their production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining a range of machines including the Laminator/Glosser, Slitter, and Die Cutter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor Laminator/Glosser, Slitter, and Die Cutter machines.
  • Ensure machines are set up correctly and running efficiently.
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting where required.
  • Follow production schedules and meet output targets.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and Health & Safety at all times.
  • Complete required production paperwork accurately.
Requirements
  • Previous experience operating similar machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A good work history with proven reliability and punctuality.
  • Flexible attitude toward working duties and hours.

We would expect the successful Machine Operator to have a flexible and adaptive attitude to work. This would be an ideal role for you if you have previously worked in packaging. Reporting to the Production Manager, this role offers variety daily.
