We have an opportunity for Machine Operators to join us in our new Beetroot Production factory on our Retort Cookers at Florette in Lichfield, WS13 8NF.

Working hours

4 days on, 4 days off. 7am to 7pm

Pay

£13.73 per hour

Main Responsibilities

• Identify and rectify mechanical faults to machinery and equipment where able and invoke escalation process
• Participate process improvements through CI framework
• Assist to install new plant and equipment when required
• Implement and ensure adherence to SOPS
• Complete rudimentary PPMs as instructed
• Management of inspections of equipment integrity on a daily basis

Skills and Experience Required

• Previous experience with industrial cookers / retorts, ideally in an FMCG or Food Environment
• A Mechanical mindset
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Qualification is desirable
• Previous related experience with production machines, ideally in an FMCG or Food Environment

Open to change and constantly drives for improvement

A team player that supports the sharing of information and values the opinions of others

Tenacious approach and a good communicator
