Machine Operative

Location: Manningtree

Pay Rate: £13.98 per hour

Hours: Monday-Friday, Mandatory rotating shift patterns. Mornings, Evenings & Nights

Employment Type: Temp to Perm (long-term opportunity)

About the Role

We are currently recruiting Machine Operatives to join a growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to start a long-term career within an established business that offers structured training and clear progression routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor machines and associated production equipment
  • Ensure consistent product quality and output throughout the production process
  • Carry out routine equipment checks, cleaning, and basic maintenance
  • Handle raw materials safely and feed them into the production line
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
  • Assist with tooling changes, setups, and line changeovers
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures
  • Work effectively as part of a production team
Requirements
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or machine operation is preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety

Pay & Progression

Starting rate: £13.98 per hour
