Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a machine operative to join our clients\' successful manufacturing team in Stanley. The role involves working for a forward thinking growing manufacturing business. This role is permanent but may initially commence as temporary.

Hours

Hours of work: Permanent dayshift 5.30am - 6.00pm. Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday for 4 weeks and Thursday, Friday, Saturday for 4 weeks, with an ongoing rotation thereafter.

Responsibilities
  • Update and maintain all QA and production records as required.
  • General production duties and cleaning duties.
  • To assist Supervisors and Team Leaders to achieve their goals.
  • Carry out stock checks materials.
  • Ensure that all work areas are kept clean, tidy and free from damaged goods.
  • Checking and printing of production codes are required.
  • Production checks for closures, volume control, labelling and packing.
  • Carry out quality checks as specified in customer specification or advised by QA department.
  • Ensure that customer specification is adhered to and appropriate quality standards are maintained.
  • Ensure equipment is running correctly and safely. Take appropriate action to resolve problems, including stopping the line when necessary in order to request assistance from maintenance or supervision if required.

  • Set up and run the plant machinery in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.

Desired Experience
