The role involves overseeing technical checks, managing site inspection reports, and providing advice to ensure compliance with standards. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist in negotiations and development of tenders for MEP Consultancy.
  • Carry out technical checks on proposed subcontractors.
  • Attend progress and technical meetings as an advisor.
  • Manage the site inspection reporting system and provide reports.
  • Provide advice to ensure designs meet required standards.
  • Monitor subcontractors' mechanical and electrical works.
  • Advise on energy use and conservation.
  • Work closely with the design team for environmental ratings.

A well renowned national commercial and residential developer are looking for a Mechanical and Electrical Technical Services Manager to work within their large Engineering team. This developer have a fantastic reputation within the industry for delivering some of the largest residential schemes and office developments in London and the South-East and have a confirmed workload scheduled for years to come.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in negotiations and development of tenders for MEP Consultancy / design and Installation services
  • Carry out technical checks on proposed sub contractors
  • Attend progress and technical meetings as an advisor to the companies operational teams.
  • Manage the site inspection reporting system and provide regular reports to the operations teams.
  • Provide advice and support to ensure that designs and installations meet the required standards.
  • Monitor (not supervise) sub contractors mechanical and electrical works
  • Advise on energy use and conservation
  • Work closely with the design team to ensure they are delivering designs to their highest environmental ratings.
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a Mechanical or Electrical Design role.
  • Educated to atleast HND level in a relevant subject
  • Experience working on residential and commercial developments in the UK
  • Good technical and interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of CFSH, lifetime homes and secured by design.
