Job summary

A leading property management firm in Cardiff is seeking a Maintenance Operative to handle technical support and maintenance in luxury developments. The ideal candidate must have experience in customer-facing roles, relevant qualifications in electrical and safety standards, and must be able to work independently and collaboratively. This permanent role offers a salary up to £32,000 and various benefits including bonuses and enhanced leave policies.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer-facing role required.
  • Electrical Competency Certificate or equivalent needed within the last 3 years.
  • Knowledge of basic water systems and L8 is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Check the work order system daily for reactive and future works.
  • Carry out lighting checks and replace light bulbs.
  • Ensure work is completed to a high standard within realistic time frames.

Skills

Customer facing experience
Electrical Competency Certificate
IOSH Working Safely qualification
Basic water system knowledge
Use of CAFM systems
Maintenance experience in residential properties
Basic painting skills
Teamwork ability
Understanding of COSHH
City and Guilds Multi Skills Certificate
Welsh speaking
