A local school in the New Forest is seeking a Lunchtime Assistant responsible for ensuring student safety and wellbeing during lunch breaks. This part-time position operates Monday to Friday from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM during term time, with a salary of £4,010 p.a. (FTE £23,597 p.a.).

• Collecting used trays, crockery and cutlery and taking these to the main kitchen for cleaning
• Clearing spillages and ensuring the lunch areas remain clean and free of litter
• Assisting with monitoring and directing students in the lunch queue
• Litter picking around the school

Our lunchtime assistants play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our students throughout the site during their lunch break.

Qualifications and Requirements

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification, will be required to have an enhanced DBS check and will have applied via the school application form. Salary & Hours

Salary: Grade A, Point 3, £4,010 p.a. (FTE £23,597 p.a.)

Hours: Monday to Friday 1.00pm - 2.30pm, (7.5 hours per week) term time only

• Setting up and clearing down the lunch hall including clearing all litter at the end of service and taking bins out
