Overview

A Lunchtime Cover Supervisor is required for a Primary School in a lovely school in Birmingham, Smethwick. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful, close-knit staff team. The school prides itself on its outstanding behavior and hard-working staff. The position will commence immediately and operate on a day-to-day basis with the potential of leading to a long-term role. This is a part-time role covering the hours of 12:00 to 13:00.

Responsibilities
  • Work with primary students aged 3 to 11 years old to monitor and supervise lunchtime activities.
  • Encourage a positive dining attitude and help students interact and exercise during playtime.
  • Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing of the children at all times.
Qualifications / Experience
  • 6 months+ experience working within a UK school establishment.
  • Experience in roles such as Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Cover Supervisor, or other out-of-classroom roles is advantageous.
Personality & Skills
  • Experienced working with children (6 months+).
  • Passionate about education and willing to go the extra mile.
  • Adaptable, able to work in a challenging setting.
