What does the role involve?

By becoming a Loneliness Companion, you will be able to add real value to the lives of vulnerable adults who rely heavily on our services and the honesty and caring nature of our people.

Our care is focussed on helping your client achieve their aims. Each client visit will work towards an end goal – whether that is to ensure that someone is able to wash and clean themselves, or baking cakes! Whatever this may be, we are confident that our CareGivers have the right ethos to provide a great level of care

What the role of a Care Assistant involves:

• Light gardening and housework
• Making breakfast, lunch and dinner
• Personal Care
• Medication
• Companionship
• Visiting clients’ local community centres, family and friends
• Empowering clients to live the life they want
• Accompanying them to the shops
• Supporting them with maintaining their valued hobbies and interests

What makes you suitable for the role

• You are a warm and caring person
• You live locally in Mid Sussex
• You have your own car and a full drivers licence
• Full time staff are expected to offer some weekend availability.
