Job summary

A leading structural engineering firm in Greater London is seeking a Structural Engineer to manage projects and lead a team. This permanent role involves conducting technical tasks, ensuring deadlines, and maintaining client relationships. A degree in structural or civil engineering is required, alongside 1-2 years of relevant experience and a strong knowledge of BS and Euro codes. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills and a methodical approach. Competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £55,000 p/a is offered.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in structural design.
  • Extensive knowledge of BS and Euro codes.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out technical, managerial and design related tasks.
  • Responsible for monitoring and reviewing internal performance/output.
  • Effective team management to ensure key deadlines are met.
  • Carry out structural analysis tasks (implementation of Euro codes).
  • Maintain healthy client relations, constantly briefing and updating.
  • Provide quality feedback and technical suggestions throughout conceptual design processes.
  • Be fully supportive of the management team and hierarchy.
  • Support and manage team members in India.
