Our client develops and manufactures bespoke electrochemical analysers, Karl Fisher titrators and gas chromatography instruments used within the oil & gas sector.

As part of their ongoing growth, we're recruiting for a Logistics & Export Manager to strengthen internal logistics capability and ensure consistent, compliant handling of both UK and international shipments.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities
  • Creating order confirmations and commercial documentation for UK and international shipments
  • Preparing and verifying Dangerous Goods documentation and ensuring correct labelling
  • Coordinating import and export shipments with freight forwarders and logistics partners
  • Working with the Chamber of Commerce to obtain export documentation
  • Managing Letters of Credit and Cash Against Documents payments when necessary
  • Liaising with European partners on import and drop-ship requirements
  • Maintaining accurate shipment records within the company CRM
  • Supporting general transport and logistics activities as required
Requirements
  • Previous experience in logistics and export operations
  • Familiar with international shipping documentation and trade processes
  • Experience handling Dangerous Goods or keen to formalise this through certification
  • Comfortable working office‑based, five days per week
