Elevation are supporting a leading global manufacturing company in Sheffield who are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team.

This role is to ensure the smooth handling of export and import activities. This role is key to delivering on-time shipments, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer communication.

Responsibilities
  • Arrange transport for export customers and ensure timely delivery
  • Liaise with freight forwarders and provide shipment updates to customers
  • Prepare and issue all relevant export/import documentation
  • Support customs clearance processes and provide instructions for imports
  • Work closely with internal teams to achieve on-time despatch
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong planning, organisation, and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise effectively
  • Team player with initiative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
Requirements
  • Knowledge of export/import procedures and documentation across all modes of transport (road, air, sea, courier)
  • Experience with reports, and customs requirements
  • Familiarity with manufacturing environments preferred
  • Additional European language skills beneficial but not essential
