Role Overview

Logistics & Material Master Data Specialist is responsible for daily operational activities with Campari UK warehouse, production plants, third party logistics providers and customs brokers. This role also includes supply planning which assesses the current orders and plans future supplies to ensure customer orders are fulfilled. It also manages Material Master Data for the SKUs sold on the UK market.

Key Responsibilities and Activities
Supply Planning
  • Stock monitoring on a daily and monthly basis to ensure coverage for customer orders
  • Manage Purchase Orders for finished products from creation to delivery from Production Plant to Campari UK warehouse
  • Plan future supplies in collaboration with Demand Manager UK and Planning Hub in HQ in Italy
  • Support Demand Planner with relevant information regarding upcoming deliveries and stock levels
  • Communicate with relevant stakeholders on changes in supplies
  • Work closely with Production Plants, forwarders, customs brokers and Campari UK warehouse to resolve supply issues
3PL Management
  • KPIs monitoring and optimization
  • Organizing and monitoring of re-working activities (GWP, VAP)
  • Participation in physical stock checks
  • Stock analysis and alignment between 3PL and Campari UK
Material Master Data management
  • New SKUs creation and extension to Campari UK warehouse
  • Maintaining the database of existing SKUs
  • Managing phasing-in and phasing-out of SKUs
Reporting
  • Be responsible for managing data to share visibility and track performance
  • Participation in development of new reporting tools and orders management tools
Customer Service
  • Ensure proper back-up to Customer Service UK Domestic and Export team when required
Key Relationships
  • Reports to Logistics & Customer Service Manager UK
  • Internal: Production plants; Planning hub and transport team in HQ in Italy; Demand planning Manager; Commercial and Marketing teams; Finance team; Human Resources team
  • External: Customers; Campari UK Warehouse; Third party logistics providers; Freight forwarders; Customs brokers
Experience and Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service and logistics in FMCG; experience in drinks industry preferred
  • Manage complex data and provide detailed analysis to draw insights
