Job summary

A logistics provider in Liverpool is seeking a Logistics Agent for a full-time role. The job involves setting up the warehouse for operations, processing shipments, and assisting with various tasks. Candidates must possess a full UK driving license, strong communication skills, and the ability to undertake FLT training. Previous experience in Freight or Cargo Logistics is advantageous. The position operates Monday to Friday, 12:00hrs to 21:00hrs.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving licence required.

• As per DfT/CAA legislation 5 years referencing.
• CRB Check/Basic Disclosure.

• Moving courier vehicles into positions.
• Covering the depot's reception and dealing with return consignments.
• Assisting with other administrative and operational tasks.

Overview

First Choice Staff Manchester is working with a well-established global logistics provider; seeking for a Logistics Agent to join the Team based in Liverpool. If you have the aptitude to show your own initiative and have a keen eye for detail, this could be the rewarding role for you. This is a full time position working Monday-Friday from 12:00hrs - 21:00hrs.

Responsibilities

• Setting up the warehouse for outbound and inbound operations.
• Processing outbound shipments and exporting truck departure activities.
• Moving Courier vehicles into positions.
• Dealing from small and up to pallet size shipments.
• Covering the depot's reception and dealing with return consignments.
• Assisting with other administrative and operational tasks, as and when required.

Key skills and requirements

• Full UK Driving licence required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Willingness and capability to undertake FLT training.
• Enthusiastic, on the go and great team player
