Overview

Occupational Health Nurse – Southampton

Dream Medical is a Primary care specialist company focusing on finding lucrative locum and permanent opportunities for qualified Nurses, AHPs, HCAs and GPs. We provide nursing cover in the Southampton area to large organisations such as law firms and factories to administer the flu vaccination in the latter part of the year. This is a flexible locum opportunity that you can fit around your existing schedule. At present, we vaccinate nationwide in all parts of the UK and this will commence from the end of September to around mid-December. We stock approx. 25,000 vaccines and have around 400 different clients nationwide. Nurses are to work to administering 16 flu vaccines per hour. We can offer a minimum of 3 hour clinics and 25p per mile if you are asked to travel between sites. All the vaccinations equipment, vaccines, sharps bins and documents will be on site in a temperature regulated box for the nurse upon arrival.

Responsibilities
  • Administer flu vaccines in line with vaccination programmes and clinical guidelines.
  • Work on-site at clinics provided by Dream Medical and travel between sites as required.
  • Maintain on-site vaccination equipment, vaccines, sharps bins and documents in a temperature-regulated environment.
