A leading healthcare provider in London seeks a dynamic Consultant Breast Oncoplastic Surgeon to support world-class care. This full-time role includes covering multiple sites within the trust and requires strong specialist skills. Breast Surgery RFL are looking for a dynamic team member to support and deliver world class Breast Surgery care. This full‑time post (10 programmed activities) requires an individual with excellent specialist skills and sub‑speciality training to join the vast RFL Breast Surgery Service.

Job responsibilities
  • Full‑time Consultant Breast Oncoplastic Surgeon covering all sites across Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, primarily based at Royal Free London Hospital and Chase Farm Hospital.
  • Admin and SPA duties.
  • One Stop Clinic and OPD Clinic appointments (Monday – Friday).
  • Multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
  • Operating lists, including joint operating sessions.
Person specification
Essential requirements
  • Full GMC Registration with licence to practice and entry on the Specialist Register, or within 6 months of CCT.
  • Evidence of continuing professional or personal development.
  • Comprehensive clinical experience in onco‑plastic breast surgery sufficient to undertake independent practice.
  • Commitment to multidisciplinary practice and team‑based care.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Track record of clinical governance, audit and management.
  • Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values.
Desirable requirements
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications (e.g., MD, PhD, MS, MSc).
  • Clinical experience in onco‑plastic breast surgery.
  • Research ability at national level.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Evidence of ability to meet other Trust values.
