A regional healthcare provider in Aylesbury is seeking a Trust Junior Doctor within Paediatrics for a 6-month fixed-term position. The role involves providing care for inpatients in NICU and general paediatrics, attending high-risk deliveries, and generating discharge summaries on the BadgerNet system. Day to day care of the inpatients on NICU, the postnatal ward Attendance at high risk deliveries/neonatal resuscitations Antenatal counselling for parents admitted in preterm labour Entering data & generating discharge summaries on the BadgerNet database system Attendance at neonatal follow-up clinics i.e. jaundice clinic General Paediatrics: Day to day care of the inpatients of ward 3 Reviewing and seeing acute referrals at both the Wycombe and Stoke Mandeville sites Outpatient clinic Giving advice or opinions to other health professionals Non-clinical Work Ensuring the timely dictation/completion of clinic letters and discharges from the ward Applications are invited for a fixed term full time Trust Junior Doctor within Paediatrics, this is a 6 month fixed term post. This post provides an ideal opportunity for a suitably qualified individual looking to continue to develop skills in general paediatrics and neonatology. The post will be based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital with some duties at Wycombe Hospital. This post will support the SHO/ ST1-3 rota. The post will include providing care in the following areas: Neonatal: Day to day care of the inpatients on the postnatal ward Attendance at high risk deliveries/neonatal resuscitations Care of postnatal babies Entering data & generating discharge summaries on the Badgernet database system General Paediatrics: Provide emergency care to sick children Day to day care of the inpatients Reviewing and seeing acute referrals at both the Wycombe and Stoke Mandeville sites Giving advice or opinions to other health professional who ask for help.
