A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Locality Lead Immunisation Nurse to oversee immunisation delivery within community and educational settings. The role involves supervising teams, ensuring quality and compliance, and supporting clinical education programs. Candidates should possess a valid nursing registration and experience in the immunisation field. A collaborative approach and strong communication skills are essential for this position.
The Locality Lead Immunisation Nurse works as a member of the Immunisation Team to support the safe delivery of large-scale programmes within community and educational settings in accordance with Department of Health Green Book against Immunisation and Local Services Specifications. To work closely with and support the Clinical Lead in all the work on the National schedule vaccinations for Children, and work with outbreaks in the community setting. Providing Support to clinical teams. The role will involve close working relationships with IntraHealth’s Lead and Deputy Immunisation nurse. Our work takes place in a variety of settings, including schools, clinics, and community venues to deliver the National Childhood Immunisation Programmes and various other Immunisation contracts. May be required to attend Contract meetings with Commissioners and keep them informed of clinical developments within the contract.
