Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for a Local Business Development Manager to join our Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles dealership in Coventry.

The hours of work are 8.30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Benefits include the use of a company vehicle and an uncapped OTE of £50,000.

As a Listers Local Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing your own area of influence to source and develop sustainable Local Business sales opportunities in line with the Volkswagen Brand Objectives.

You will act as the key contact for potential local business and corporate company vehicle drivers, planning and organising your own sales activities to win new profitable business.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Identifying and targeting new customers through a planned, diligent, and measured prospecting process
  • Creating and implementing direct marketing initiatives to inspire and generate interaction with prospects and existing customers
  • Managing and influencing existing customers, identifying business growth opportunities for sales and aftersales
  • Preparing and managing your fleet database and management reports in accordance with business and brand requirements for updates and review
  • Building lasting and valued customer, supplier, and team relationships
