Contract role – Youth Justice

Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Youth Justice Officer in West London.

Role information:

  • As a Youth Justice Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting young people involved in or at risk of offending. You will work collaboratively with families, schools, and partner agencies to deliver tailored interventions that promote positive change and reduce reoffending.
  • Key responsibilities include writing comprehensive reports for court, completing Asset+ assessments, and undertaking Prevention and Diversion assessments to inform effective planning. This role requires excellent communication skills, resilience, and a commitment to safeguarding and empowering young people to achieve their potential.
  • You will manage a varied caseload including statutory orders and children subject to OOCDs, contributing to multi‑agency plans that address complex needs and risks.
