What you will do
  • Investigate allegations and concerns regarding professionals or volunteers working with children.
  • Provide advice and guidance to employers and voluntary organisations on managing allegations.
  • Chair strategy meetings and offer recommendations for handling individual cases.
  • Maintain detailed records of investigations and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with social care, police, and other partner agencies to safeguard children effectively.
  • Deliver awareness training to professionals on safe working practices and the role of the LADO.
  • Regularly review cases and ensure they are closed in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK working as a qualified Social Worker
