Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out tasks relating to catering, cleaning and laundry services.
• Ensuring the clients' dignity and confidentiality is maintained at all times.
• Working within all areas of the care home environment of Facilities Management Soft Services as instructed by the Assistant Facilities Housekeeper or other appropriate manager.
• Maintaining all areas used by the clients and care staff to the required standard on a consistent and timely basis.

Requirements

• Experience working in catering, cleaning and laundry services.
• High awareness of current hygiene practices.
• Organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• SVQ (or equivalent) in Catering, SVQ (or equivalent) in Cleaning or an elementary food hygiene certificate (desirable).
• Disclosure Scotland check required if successful.

Job Details

20 hours per week. 4 days over 7 days including alternate weekends. Work pattern: 13:00 - 18:00.
