A growing care service provider in Bournemouth is seeking three Support Workers to join the team. The role involves providing personal care and support to a couple with Cerebral Palsy. You will assist with daily living activities, including companionship, housekeeping, and meal preparation. Candidates must have experience with manual handling and a compassionate demeanor. A1 Care is a fast growing organisation in Bournemouth area promoting independence in the comfort of people’s own homes through both Domiciliary & Live-in Care Services.
We are currently seeking a flexible team of 3 Support Workers to join our company (2 full time / 1 relief), supporting a lovely couple to do simple things that we take for granted, such as personal care, cooking, cleaning, visiting friends and socialise. They need to be driven around, car is provided.
Our lovely couple lives in Bournemouth, Dorset trying to enjoy a full life despite having Cerebral Palsy. They are hoisted for all transfers and are either carried or use a wheelchair for mobility, therefore we need someone who can prove experience with manual handling.

o support service users with all aspects of their day to day living, so they can enjoy the bestwerkings possible quality of life. Providing Live-in care and support is both a challenging and rewarding experience. You will stay in the service user home, usually working alone.
There will be pre-arranged breaks during periods when the service user does not need your services. This is often during the afternoons. Compassion, good communication skills and a calm and caring manner are essential for this important role you play.
To provide safe, reliable, compassionate care and support that is centred on the individual needs and wishes of each customer. This involves respecting each customers’ choices and promoting their dignity at all times.
You will build positive relationships with the service user, their family and other health and mikil care professionals. As you will be staying in the service user home, you will follow their house rules and be mindful of their need for privacy.
