Job summary

A leading UK food distribution company is looking for an experienced LGV Class 1 Driver in Wakefield. The successful candidate will handle multi-drop deliveries and be responsible for transporting products to foodservice establishments. Candidates must hold a valid HGV Class 1 license and have no more than six points on their driving license. Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 license.
• Possess CPC certification.
• Experience in multi-drop deliveries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-drop deliveries, averaging 5 to 15 drops.
• Handle roll cage deliveries using refrigerated vehicles.
• Collect empty roll cages and waste returns.
• Maintain timely delivery schedule, starting between 0300 and 0600.
• Be prepared for potential night shifts.

The job role includes:

• Multi-drop – between 5 and 15 deliveries.
• Roll cage deliveries of products to foodservice establishments using refrigerated vehicles and tail-lifts
• Collection of empty roll cages and customer waste/returns.
• Some hand-ball deliveries are required.
• Majority of start times are between 0300 and 0600
• Nationwide deliveries.
• Some nights out may be required
• Various shift patterns
