• Proven track record of working as a legionella risk assessor in the water hygiene/water treatment industry.
• Background in chemical, technical, educational and consultancy context.
• Fully conversant with the water treatment industry Health & Safety procedures and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Conducting legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 across a varied site base.
• Compiling and creating schematic drawings with details, and producing final documents/reports for clients.
• Providing recommendations, prices for remedial works and routine control measures.
• Writing reports and attending meetings to discuss findings.
• Building and maintaining good rapport with clients, customers and staff.

Competent in using Microsoft Office Package

Education

Member of City and Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment course or equivalent

Our client is a well-respected consultancy within the water treatment industry who provides water treatment/water hygiene services to clients throughout the UK. They are currently seeking a committed and multi-skilled Legionella Risk Assessor based in the Sutton area. The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines and will have excellent water treatment industry knowledge. Consideration will be given to applications from Mitcham, Croydon, Purley and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications/Experience

• Member of City and Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment course or equivalent WMS qualification.
• Proven track record of working as a legionella risk assessor in the water hygiene/water treatment industry.
• Background in chemical, technical, educational and consultancy context.
• Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fully conversant with the water treatment industry Health & Safety procedures and legislation.

Role Responsibilities

• Conducting legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 across a varied site base.
• Compiling and creating schematic drawings with details, and producing final documents/reports for clients.
• Providing recommendations, prices for remedial works and routine control measures, preparing quotations, and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.
• Writing reports and attending meetings to discuss findings.
• Getting involved with the company’s legionella management systems.
• Building and maintaining good rapport with clients, customers and staff.
• Dealing with problems appropriately and effectively.
• Prioritising workload and ensuring work is completed within timescales.
• Traveling to sites as per client requirements.
