Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessment
Location: Oxford, South Central.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Legionella Risk Assessment through to Lead Legionella Risk Assessment

Profile: A reputable Legionella / Water Treatment company with a national presence working on Industrial and Commercial sites is now seeking a hardworking and qualified Legionella Risk Assessment based around the Oxford area. The successful candidate will ideally hold an industry‑recognised Legionella Risk Assessing qualification and, at a minimum, have experience working in a Risk Assessing role within a recognised Legionella company. Experience working on more complex process and cooling systems is desirable but not essential, as the client can offer training in these areas. Applications will be considered from: Newbury, Reading, Basingstoke, Andover, Tidworth, Salisbury, Winchester, Eastleigh, Southampton, Fareham, Waterlooville, Havant, Portsmouth, Gosport.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Holding the City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment is essential to the role.
  • Previous/current experience working for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
  • Excellent eye for detail and extensive knowledge of relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 legislations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competent in using a hand‑held PDA system.
The Role
  • Work in line with relevant ACoP L8 guidelines, carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments on Industrial and Commercial sites.
  • Conduct surveys on clients’ water systems, including temperature monitoring, water sampling, and analysis.
  • Use a handheld PDA system to produce site‑specific reports for clients.
  • Ensure all onsite logbooks are kept up to date.
  • Build and maintain excellent rapport with clients.
