Job Title: Legionella Plumber

Overview

We are working closely with an industry leading provider of Legionella Management services across the UK. They are now seeking to take on a Legionella Plumber to join their team, covering the North West / Yorkshire region. You will work on Educational, Healthcare, Industrial and Public Sector sites carrying out deadleg removals, CWST cleans and disinfection, and fault finding on site ensuring any issues are rectified in a timely manner.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Manchester, Stockport, Warrington, Macclesfield, Buxton, Liverpool, Birkenhead, St Helens, Wallasey, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Preston, Burnley, Blackpool, Huddersfield, Bradford, Keighley, Leeds, Wakefield, Dewsbury, Halifax, Barnsley, Doncaster Rotherham, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Worksop.

Qualifications and Experience

• Hold City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in Plumbing.
• Experience working for an established Legionella management company as a legionella plumber.
• Able to work on a mixed portfolio of sites.
• IT literate, able to produce detailed reports for clients.
• Organise workload in line with company and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Undertake deadleg removals.
• Remove, replace, and reroute copper and PVC pipework.
• Undertake fault‑finding on site, ensuring issues are rectified in a timely manner.
• Perform CWST refurbishments and installations.
• Check plumbing work and sign off when completed.
• Install, replace, and service TMVs.
• Carry out work in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Install expansion valves.
• Produce detailed reports based on site findings.
