Overview

My client is looking for an Experienced Legal Secretary with a minimum of 1 years experience in conveyancing to join their well established office in Loughborough, Leicestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in conveyancing support who is keen to be part of a busy, professional, and friendly department.

Responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality legal secretarial support across a broad range of residential conveyancing matters.
  • Managing client interactions in a professional and timely manner.
  • Drafting, transcribing, and proofreading correspondence and documents.
  • Supporting with Land Registry Portal submissions and related tasks.
  • Handling administrative duties such as diary management, filing, scanning, and photocopying.
  • Assisting colleagues and fee earners where required to ensure seamless service delivery.
About You
  • Recent experience working in a residential conveyancing team.
  • A solid understanding of the full conveyancing process for both sales and purchases.
  • Experience using Bighand or similar digital dictation software.
  • At least one year's secretarial experience within residential property.
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
