Overview

Department: Business Support

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: Bolton

Keoghs is looking to appoint an experienced Legal Cashier to join a high volume fast paced Cashiering team to provide efficient and accurate support to the wider business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Processing Client and Office receipts, payments and transfers under multiple currencies and jurisdictions (SRA, LSI & LSNI) across multiple ERP’s
  • Daily Bank Reconciliations and maintenance of accurate cashbook records
  • Mailbox management dealing with complex ledger queries
  • Assisting with Audits & Inspections
  • Acting support for Finance Assistants and Assistant Cashiers
  • Suspense Account maintenance
  • Monitoring Client account balances and ensuring funds are managed in line with regulations
  • Contributing to process improvements
Working Hours

35 hours per week Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. Primary location for this role is Bolton Parklands. Hybrid role agile working policy in place to suit business need.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essential:

  • Experience working as a Legal Cashier within a Law Firm
  • Strong knowledge of SRA, LSNI & LSI Rules
  • Ability to work under pressure, excellent time management skills and ability to meet agreed deadlines
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience of all Microsoft packages
  • Proficiency in Legal Accounting software
