Keoghs is looking to appoint an experienced Legal Cashier to join a high volume fast paced Cashiering team to provide efficient and accurate support to the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing Client and Office receipts, payments and transfers under multiple currencies and jurisdictions (SRA, LSI & LSNI) across multiple ERP’s
- Daily Bank Reconciliations and maintenance of accurate cashbook records
- Mailbox management dealing with complex ledger queries
- Assisting with Audits & Inspections
- Acting support for Finance Assistants and Assistant Cashiers
- Suspense Account maintenance
- Monitoring Client account balances and ensuring funds are managed in line with regulations
- Contributing to process improvements
Working Hours
35 hours per week Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. Primary location for this role is Bolton Parklands. Hybrid role agile working policy in place to suit business need.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential:
- Experience working as a Legal Cashier within a Law Firm
- Strong knowledge of SRA, LSNI & LSI Rules
- Ability to work under pressure, excellent time management skills and ability to meet agreed deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience of all Microsoft packages
- Proficiency in Legal Accounting software
