Legal Assistant / Secretary – Residential Property

Location: Evesham

Salary: DOE

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:15pm

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Legal Assistant/Secretary to support our client’s well‑established Residential Conveyancing team. The ideal candidate will deliver high‑quality administrative and secretarial assistance to ensure maximum efficiency within the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Fee Earner diaries and schedule appointments.
  • Handle routine client communications and enquiries.
  • Open, maintain, and close client files in line with firm procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records on the firm’s database.
  • Draft and send correspondence, including invoices and dictated documents.
  • Submit SDLT forms and Land Registry applications.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all client and firm information.
  • Maintain hard copy files and perform general administrative duties.
  • Assist with post‑completion tasks and legal document drafting.
  • Record financial transactions and clear balances before file closure.
  • Organise searches and compile necessary reports.
  • Manage daily post and other clerical tasks.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as reasonably required by the firm.
Person Specification
