Job description

Kennedys is hiring two on-site Legal Administrators. These roles are offered in two locations: one in our Glasgow office and one in our Edinburgh office.

Team

Kennedys' Liability team handle pre and post litigation work including small, large loss, fast and multi-track claims. The wider team advise on motor liability, employers liability and public liability matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deal accurately with filing - storage and retrieval of client files in line with the department's filing system and locating missing files
  • Operate the Firm's quality procedures and information security systems as specified in the current edition of the Quality Procedures
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all practice and client's documentation and/or information
  • Undertake file closure and archiving when required
  • Use the photocopying equipment to achieve copies of the correct standard in line with the Firm's and department's requirements.
Required Experience
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Proficient in MS Office packages
  • Good literacy and numeracy
  • Good typing skills
