About the Role

We are seeking an inspiring, dedicated, and student-focused Lecturer of Health & Social Care to join a high-performing sixth form college in the heart of Kensington. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging, industry-relevant teaching to students studying Level 3 BTEC and/or A-Level Health & Social Care pathways.

You will play a key role in shaping learners' understanding of health, wellbeing, safeguarding, and care provision while supporting them to progress into higher education, apprenticeships, and careers within the health and social care sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across Level 3 Health & Social Care courses
  • Create engaging lessons that bring theory to life and develop strong vocational understanding
  • Support students through effective feedback, guidance, and pastoral care
  • Contribute to curriculum development and the continuing improvement of departmental standards
  • Participate in enrichment, open days, and cross-college initiatives
About You
  • A relevant degree and strong subject knowledge in Health & Social Care or related field
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd/QTS/QTLS) or willingness to work toward one
  • Experience delivering post-16 Health & Social Care is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, equality, and inclusive learning
  • Enthusiasm for inspiring young people and supporting their progression
