Qualifications

Lecturer in Computing (EL197)

Location: Crewe Campus – Crewe
Contract: Permanent – 37 hrs/week
Salary: £28,997 – £43,748 per annum
Recruiting for an innovative and inspiring Lecturer to provide learners with an outstanding learning experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach a range of IT & Computing courses including BTEC and T‑Levels;
  • Undertake tutorial support and associated administrative tasks;
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young persons;
  • Marketing and promotion of the provision to employers and stakeholders.
Key Person Specification Requirements
  • Teacher trained (PGCE, DTLLS or CertEd) or working towards;
  • GCSE Grade C (4/5) in English and Maths;
  • Degree in a relevant subject (or an equivalent is desirable);
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development;
  • Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace and learning environment;
  • Up‑to‑date occupational experience;
  • Enhanced DBS check.
