This is an exciting opportunity to join Bradgate Education Partnership at Gaddesby Primary School as a Learning Support Assistant and Midday Supervisor on a fixed term basis until 23rd August 2026, totaling 32.5 hours per week. We are seeking a well-motivated and enthusiastic individual who can support children with confidence and care and help them fulfil their potential.

The role of the Learning Support Assistant is to provide vital support to students, working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis. The successful candidate will work alongside the Classroom Teacher and the wider school to create a positive environment for children to flourish.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • A Level 2 certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent (desirable)
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in a primary school
  • Strong communication skills
  • Patience and empathy to support children with diverse needs
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with teachers, staff and parents
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
