Job Title: Learning & Development Specialist
Locations: Essex | Hybrid
The purpose of this role is to support the development of staff through the design and delivery of product, systems, process and SS&C training to meet the requirements of SS&C’s business goals. In addition, the jobholder will support with training design and delivery for projects, as well as consulting with management teams as ad hoc training needs are identified.
Plan and execute training initiatives that enhance necessary skillsets for an employee's current role.
Selects or creates materials and appropriate delivery methods for programs on a variety of topics to increase an employee's individual performance.
Creates training reports and maintains training records. Uses needs assessment tools to determine effectiveness of proposed training programs.
Interact with functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses.
Prepare lesson plans including the method, media, and documentation to be presented. Intermediate professional working on projects of a moderate scope or on varied tasks that require resourcefulness, self-initiative, and significant independent judgement.
Demonstrates a developing functional knowledge to evaluate the implications of issues and make recommendations for solutions. Guides less experienced team members.
May recommend new procedures.
Apply innovative problem solving and analytical skills in overcoming challenges identified in individual project areas.
Managing the design and delivery of L & D interventions.
Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
