A local education authority in Scotland is seeking a Learning Assistant to support children with additional needs in a school environment. The role involves caring for children and assisting with classroom duties. Applicants should have experience working with children and good communication skills. This is a part-time position of 22 hours per week within the Coltness High School Cluster.

An exciting opportunity is available within Coltness High School Cluster, North Lanarkshire Council to assist children who have additional support needs.
Cluster based Learning Assistants may be deployed to support children at any school within the Cluster area, on a peripatetic basis as determined by the needs of the pupils. The schools within the Coltness High School Cluster are:

This post is 22 hours per week, each post 4 days x 5.5hrs per day.
There are 2 Temporary post until 26/06/2026 and the working pattern will be determined once appointments made.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
