Are you a natural leader who enjoys helping others succeed? We’re looking for a Team Leader to join our growing Learner Services Team on a fixed term until 31 August 2026. You’ll work alongside three other team leaders to support curriculum staff and ensure learners have a smooth and positive experience. In this role, you will lead a team that focuses on supporting the curriculum team to deliver high quality Adult Education classes across Coventry. You will also help coordinate administrative tasks across the wider service, including supporting classes at various venues across the city and offering initial advice and guidance to learners who are looking to enrol. All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK. We are currently not offering sponsorship for this role. This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
We are looking for someone who leads by example, has proven line management experience, is highly organised, and can manage a busy and varied workload. Flexibility is important, as the role involves working in different locations and at different times including occasional evenings and weekends. You should be confident in managing and developing staff, helping them to grow and perform at their best.
