A leading care home provider in Lyndhurst is seeking a Lead Wellbeing & Lifestyle Coordinator to enhance resident activities. In this full-time role, you'll plan engaging events, foster community relationships, and manage a volunteer base. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, organizational capabilities, and a clean driving license. Hartwood House is a 50-bed residential and dementia care home based in Lyndhurst. We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Wellbeing & Lifestyle Coordinator whose role is to plan and facilitate stimulating activities, promote independence and choice to suit the different needs and interests of our residents. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for coordinating a successful activities and volunteer programme within the home, including internal and external communication about activities-focused programmes and networking within the local community to recruit, train and place volunteers alongside other activity team members. The calendar of events can include fitness, arts & crafts, musical events and group historical discussions as well as trips out to various places of interest. You will need a clean driving licence (over 21) as you will be driving the company car/minibus for external outings. Training can be provided for mini-bus driving.
