Location: Remote working with 1 day in every 2 weeks at our Stoke-On-Trent office (5 mins from station).

About the role:

This hands-on role involves working closely with the Head of Engineering and cross-functional teams to develop real-world solutions and positive user experiences. You will review, lead, and drive our strategy for the maturity, security, performance, and scalability of our software and services across cloud infrastructure. The role offers a high degree of autonomy to shape the team’s future using your expertise in:

  • Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure, Platform management
  • API development and deployment in containerized environments such as Kubernetes
  • Implementing and enhancing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform
  • Collaborating with stakeholders in an agile environment
  • Leading, coaching, and mentoring team members
  • AWS services, including IAM, S3, EKS, Networking
  • CloudFormation and CDK
  • Working with serverless computing
