Lead Project Engineer – Aberdeen

As a Lead Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing project activities, ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines and budget.

Your expertise and leadership skills will be essential in coordinating with various stakeholders and driving project execution.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting and challenging projects, spanning different disciplines such as IMR, SURF, subsea installations, and more. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field (experience can compensate for lack of formal competency)
  • Experience in project engineering within the offshore/subsea industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and deadline‑driven environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams
  • Management of subcontracts and subcontractors
  • Experience in site management of fabrication subcontractors and Site Integration and Factory Acceptance Testing of equipment and tooling packages for the oil and gas industry
  • Management of QA/QC principles
  • Detailed understanding of relevant codes and standards
  • Understanding of Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment tools and techniques
  • General understanding of project management tools and techniques (including cost and schedule control)
