Job Overview

Are you a motivated and experienced pricing professional looking to take the next step in your career? As a Pricing Lead Analyst at AXA – Global Healthcare, you’ll be responsible for delivering age‑rated pricing activities, driving technical product development, and providing insightful monitoring and reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.

You’ll oversee BAU pricing for individual and SME portfolios, ensuring targets for Gross Underwriting Margin are met, and support all scheduled product reviews through thorough analysis, approval, and implementation. In this pivotal role you’ll lead a team of analysts, ensuring their work aligns with the guidelines set by insurers and reinsurers while fostering a collaborative, high‑performance environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead pricing activities in collaboration with various partners and insurers.
  • Develop current and future product and pricing strategies.
  • Support Distribution with tactical incentives to optimise market positioning.
  • Create solutions for new products and strengthen insurer relationships.
  • Lead technical developments to improve efficiency and innovation within the Pricing team.
  • Develop underwriting approaches to enhance AXA Global Healthcare’s competitiveness.
  • Manage at least one Analyst, setting clear goals and development plans.
  • Ensure all decisions align with AXA’s vision, values, and leadership principles.
  • Demonstrate that you meet the essential criteria as detailed in the job advert.
Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of the global IPMI insurance and reinsurance marketplace, including managing international relationships.
  • Proficiency in insurance pricing techniques and methodologies.
  • Excellent business and commercial acumen.
  • Experience with modelling software such as Emblem or Akur8 is advantageous.
  • Capable of quickly and accurately understanding and synthesising complex information.
  • Skilled at building sound professional relationships across all levels of the organisation, with a tactful and constructive approach to challenging discussions.
  • Curious about operational processes and driven to implement meaningful change.
  • Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
  • Eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
