GE Vernova seeks a Lead Power Electronics Engineer to oversee Low and Medium Voltage design tasks in a multidisciplinary team. Your role will involve developing power electronics solutions for critical applications in energy and maritime sectors, ensuring high standards and compliance. GE Vernova’s Power Conversion & Storage business provides electrification systems that are critical to customers’ power and energy needs for their high-performance applications. We work with some of the world’s major energy, maritime and industrial organizations, helping to enable a transition to energy efficiency and decarbonization, including through our specialist motors, drives and control technologies.
As the Lead Power Electronics Engineer you will be responsible for leading and performing Low Voltage and Medium Voltage power electronics and electrical design tasks on Drive System projects. This is a technical role and will involve working in a multi-disciplinary team of engineers to specify, design, support manufacturing & validation of megawatt-scale power electronics for Marine, Energy, and Industry applications.

This role involves work for customers who manage critical infrastructure; based on customer requirements it will be necessary to carry out background checks and suitability assessments (UK BPSS clearance OR UK Security Clearance (SC)) as part of the hiring process.
