A prominent healthcare organization located in Blantyre is seeking a Lead Medical Secretary to supervise an administrative team providing essential support to clinicians. Candidates should have a SVQ level 3 qualification along with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include managing administrative tasks according to NHS standards and ensuring effective communication with patients and medical staff. A full UK driver's license is required for this position, along with proficiency in IT systems. The role offers a permanent contract with full-time hours.
As a Lead Medial Secretary, you will supervise an administrative team of secretaries and administrative clerks to provide a comprehensive administrative support to a team of clinicians, enabling clinicians to operate effectively and efficiently and ensuring the work of the administrative team is carried out in accordance with NHS Lanarkshire’s standard operating procedures.
