Job summary

A leading staffing solutions provider is seeking a Lead Maintenance Engineer to oversee maintenance activities in a high-end residential building located in Vauxhall, London. The role involves managing KPIs/SLA's, coordinating with sub-contractors, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Candidates should have electrical or mechanical qualifications, be multi-skilled, and possess a strong background in commercial building maintenance. Shift is Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with on-call duties.

  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
  • Familiar with E-Log books.

Responsibilities

  • Manage agreed KPI and SLA's alongside the Supervisor.
  • Arrange specialist sub-contractors.
  • Ensure all paperwork is up to date on each contract.
  • Attend client meetings if required.

Lead Maintenance Engineer (1 Person Site) – Vauxhall, London – Up to £50,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer ready to take the next step in your career?

CBW are currently recruiting for a Lead Maintenance Engineer to be based in a high end residential building based in Vauxhall. The building offers a contemporary, high-quality environment within a distinctive modern development.

The Lead Engineer will work independently, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, overseeing all maintenance activities across the residential site and providing on‑call support as required.

Key duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage agreed KPI and SLA's alongside the Supervisor
  • Arrange specialist sub-contractors
  • Management of all reports/site log books (Working with the Contract Manager & Supervisor)
  • Ensure all paperwork is up to date on each contract and ready for audits
  • Attend client meetings if required
  • Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
  • Emergency lighting & Fire alarm tests
  • Air Conditioning – Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
  • BMS System – Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
  • Statutory Compliance
Hour of Work
  • Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
  • 08:00am to 17:00pm
  • Call Out
Requirements
