A leading engineering firm is seeking a driven Lead Geoenvironmental Engineer to lead the Ground Investigation team in Northampton. In this role, you will manage a small team to deliver high-quality projects while ensuring technical excellence and sustainable solutions for various industries. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years in the relevant field, a relevant degree, and strong leadership skills. We are looking for a driven, Lead Geoenvironmental Engineer to lead our Ground Investigation team in Northampton. You will be leading a small team of engineers to deliver high quality Ground Investigation projects of varying scale and complexity.
Supported by our geotechnical and land quality specialists, you will be providing technical excellence and sustainable solutions to our clients across a broad range of industries and developments. The Ground Investigation teams are multidisciplinary, covering factual reporting, contaminated land risk assessments and geotechnical appraisal. A good basis in these topics as well as experience in managing people and demonstratable leadership skills is essential.

A degree of fieldwork, including training and site visits, will be expected as part of the role, though as a guide, it is envisaged at least 80% of the role will be office-based. For any required visits, vehicles for travel are provided by the company although you will need to be able to attend our offices and have a full driving licence.
