Job summary

A leading logistics automation company in the UK seeks a Mobile Service Technician to join their Airports domain. You will provide technical expertise on electro-mechanical systems for baggage handling equipment, ensuring high uptime and reliability. Your role includes executing preventive maintenance, diagnosing complex issues, and collaborating effectively with customers and stakeholders. Qualifications

  • Strong technical knowledge of electro‑mechanical systems and system controls, including fault‑finding and maintenance.
  • Ability to analyse complex technical problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leading technical response and tele‑support for complex electro‑mechanical and control system issues.
  • Coordinate operational fault correction activities on MHE in collaboration with operations managers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with site legislative Health & Safety regulations.
  • Champion a safety‑first culture, ensuring a safe working environment across all activities.

Skills

Strong technical knowledge of electro-mechanical systems
Excellent communication skills
Strong organisational skills
Ability to analyse complex technical problems
Proficiency in MS Office applications

Education

City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 or above in maintenance mechanical / electrical discipline
