A leading aerospace company in Gloucester seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support NPI programmes and develop manufacturing processes for a new generation of propulsion systems. The role involves generating optimized manufacturing plans, championing APQP, and working collaboratively with various teams. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and experience in manufacturing engineering.

In this pivotal role, you\'ll support the latest NPI programmes as we enable electric, sustainable aviation and turn a product vision for our latest generation of propulsion systems into a manufacturable reality. You will be the focal point for manufacturing process design, facility footprint, technology selection and quality planning to demonstrate manufacturing proof of concept through a capable, reliable and efficient manufacturing pilot line. You will champion design for manufacture, develop a lean production process, leverage automation and work cross-functionally to resolve manufacturing issues as they arise.
